Description

NOTE FROM KATE: IN THE MICROBIOME STUDY, WOMEN CANNOT ENROLL BEFORE 36 WEEKS GA, SO ANY CURRENT PREGNANCY IS ALWAYS 24 WEEKS OR GREAT. WHEN MEDLODY ENROLLED A MOM AT 18 WEEKS AND WAS ASKED HOW MANY PREGNANCIES INCLUDING THIS ONE HAS THE MOTHER HAD, HE CORRECTLY ANSWERED 3. BUT THE NEXT QUESTION IS HOW MANY PREGNANCIES WERE 24 WEEKS OR GREAT, HE CORRECTLY ANSWERED 2. SINCE 2 DOES NOT = 3, HE IS GETTING AN ERROR MESSAGE. THIS HAS TO BE FIXED.

If the current pregnancy is < 24 weeks gestational age, then subtract one from question 2. On the form check, if the answer to Q2 is = 1, then questions 3 must be equal to 1 if gestational age of current pregnancy is greater than or equal to 24 and questions 4, and 5 have to be equal to 0. Bottom line, all quality checks for questions 3-6 must be based on q2 as a a starting point. If q2 = 1 then GA has to be checked. If < 24 weeks then 3,4,5, 6 must be = 0. If greater than or equal to 24 weeks GA, then only q3 can have a value of 1, 4, 5, 6 have to have a value of 0. If q2 > 1 and GA < 24 then the sum of 3, 4, 5 and 6 should equal the value of Q2 minus 1. Otherwise, if the current pregnancy is greater than or equal to 24 weeks, then the sum of 3, 4, 5 an 6 must equal Q2.

(Q8 + Q9) cannot be > Q2 -1.
raise "The sum of Q8 & Q9 exceeds total prev reported above."

Q3, 4, 5 ,6 & 7 should sum to Q2 if GA is >= to 24 weeks or if GA < 24 weeks Q 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 should sum to Q2 -1.

"How many of these chlidren were twins?"
